David M. Schlachman
Founder & Principal
For almost 30-years, David has actively been a part of the development world. In 2001, he formed DMS Development, LLC to grow the company and create more opportunity for retail tenancy. Through the years, the company has successfully been a preferred developer for several retailers and focused on various types of development including single-tenancy, shopping centers, mixed-use and student housing. David’s financial background helps guide the DMS Team towards profitable projects that continue to successfully meet regulatory changes and economic hurdles in a forward thinking direction.
Michael J. Ertel, P.E.
Michael’s civil engineering background plays a key role in each successful project. His experience transcends all levels of site entitlement and enables him to be a strategic partner connecting engineering design and business goals within each development stage. Prior to joining the DMS Team, Michael led an exemplary career on such notable projects as UMBC Research Park, Owings Mills Newtown Area 3, Airport Square Technology Park, Parkview Trail and Glyndon Square Shopping Center, to name a few!
Kimberly A. Hoshall
As an integral part of the DMS Team, Kim brings her proficiency in Business Administration procedures to the daily management of a busy office setting with an active list of multiple projects to financially track and maintain records for.
